Technical offers

The  MicroPICell core facility, located within the Health department of Nantes University, offers a range of services focused on fluorescence cell imaging and histology.
The core facility is comprised of two technological units: the ‘MicroMorph’ Unit, dedicated to histological technologies, and the ‘PICell’ Unit, dedicated to fluorescence microscopy.

  • Fluorescence imaging and quantification of adherent cells and tissues
  • Quantitative imaging of intracellular ion fluxes
  • Characterization of the protein-protein interaction
  • Tissue Micro-Array

  • Laser Capture Microdissection

Scientific expertise

The core facility accepts all biological systems.
MicroPICell advises you on ad hoc technology based on your specific requirements. The MicroPICell team provides required services and training.

  • Confocal, standard and rapid photon-counting microscopy
  • Imaging station for intracellular ion flux imaging
  • Laser capture microdissection
  • Comprehensive material for histological technologies
  • Comprehensive equipment for Tissue Micro-Array

Access

MicroPICell provides services to scientists and industrial operators.
The facilities can be used by applicants wishing to work on their own, once they have completed training with an instructor.
Trained applicants may use the online software to book facilities.
Access to the MicroPICell core facility is subject to a fee.
